SILO is a Zero Waste restaurant in London and their no waste policy goes beyond the food they serve to their customers. The furniture and fittings are also made of materials that would otherwise have been wasted. Including the cork floor chosen from Amorim Wise. Originals shell, from Cork Inspire range, complements the industrial feel of the space while keeping it inviting and warm due to the unique properties of cork. This project, that was a finalist on the Surface Design Awards 2021, gives new meaning to "Nothing is wasted. Everything is transformed".
